Avista Senior Living in Phoenix, AZ is seeking part-time Dining Servers to join our team in a growing community where you will be valued. We are looking for compassionate and dependable individuals ready to make an important impact on the lives of seniors.

Responsibilities

• Take resident orders and serve food accordingly
• Bus tables in accordance with company policies
• Maintain cleanliness of floors, equipment, and dining room
• Assist with preparation of meals as needed
• Assist in food prep
• Pay attention to presentation, taste, and attitude during mealtimes
• Attend any in-service training as required
• Ensure compliance and understanding of residents’ rights
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Able to read, write, and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job
• Able to relate positively to residents, families, guests, and other personnel
• Able to maintain reliable attendance on a designated schedule
• Able to pass a background check
• Must be able to obtain a food handler’s permit
