Server Assistants / Food Runners

Position Summary

Puttshack USA is seeking a diverse team of fun hospitality associates to join their growing team. The Server Assistant position is essential for the floor operation, responsible for food and drink service, table cleaning, and assisting the service team.

Position Responsibilities

• Anticipate guests’ needs and ensure overall experience exceeds expectations
• Greet guests with a warm welcome and sincere smile
• Assist service team with all food and beverage service
• Deliver food and drinks to guests in the dining room, bar, and golf courses following steps of service
• Clean and transport dirty dishes to tray or dish room
• Quickly and efficiently clean, sanitize, and reset tables
• Stock and maintain supplies at service stations
• Understand and follow food allergy procedures and special orders/restrictions
• Comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures
• Take direction and be a team player
• Follow all rules, policies, procedures, and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Associate Handbook
• May include other projects or duties as assigned, including but not limited to side-work, opening, and closing duties

Required Skills And Experience

• Must be 18+ years of age to apply
• Prior hospitality or food/beverage experience
• Strong level of emotional intelligence and overall self-awareness
• High standards of guest satisfaction
• Ability to obtain any required licenses and certifications for your location
• Sense of urgency and ability to multitask calmly and effectively in a busy environment
• Safely and effectively communicate in order to perform and follow job requirements in written and spoken directions

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift and move safely through all areas of the venue, which may include stairs, uneven or slick surfaces
• Move and lift up to 10 pounds frequently, and occasionally move and lift up to 30 pounds
• Work in confined, crowded space with high noise levels and various temperature levels
