Recognized for more than a century as the iconic address for Dallas hospitality, The Adolphus offers timeless culture, vibrant and storied surroundings, imaginative and collaborative food and drink, and immersive experiences. In its reimagining, the 407-room downtown hotel recalls a grand European home. This individual is just starting in the restaurant world and seeks to go beyond an understanding of the menu. This person recognizes that a great experience allows guests to focus on enjoying their food and the ambiance, so it is important to anticipate and fulfill guest needs before they ask. From swift delivery of food to refilling drinks, this person creates a welcoming, warm environment that leaves guests with not only a great meal but a new and inspired outlook on their surroundings.

Responsibilities

• Set and prepare tables for dining, including folding napkins, cleaning, and placing tableware
• Ensure tableware is in good condition and report any defects for repair
• Stock, maintain, and clean designated food station(s)
• Assist servers with table service, including running food and serving beverages
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests, resolving issues in a timely, efficient, and friendly manner

Requirements

• Prior experience highly preferred
• A proactive and friendly demeanor
• Ability to clear flatware and dishware, clean tables, and replace linens
