Main Duties And Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain dining room mise en place, service stations, and table settings in accordance with hotel standards.
- Clean, reset, and maintain tables throughout service while ensuring exceptional presentation and cleanliness.
- Assist Servers with delivering food and beverages, pre-bussing tables, water service, bread service, and guest requests.
- Support opening, closing, and side work assignments while maintaining organization throughout each shift.
- Anticipate guest needs and provide prompt, courteous assistance while maintaining a warm and professional demeanor.
- Ensure guests receive timely service by supporting efficient communication between the dining room and culinary teams.
- Promptly notify management or Servers of any service concerns requiring additional attention.
- Maintain luxury hospitality standards by demonstrating professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service equipment, storage areas, and back-of-house workspaces.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, allergy awareness, and responsible service standards.
- Properly clean, polish, store, and maintain glassware, flatware, china, and service equipment.
- Assist with banquet functions, private events, and special dining experiences as business demands require.
- Collaborate effectively with restaurant leadership, culinary, stewarding, and fellow Food & Beverage team members.
- Follow all Hotel safety policies, emergency procedures, uniform standards, and grooming expectations.
- Report maintenance concerns, equipment issues, safety hazards, or guest incidents promptly.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support departmental operations and guest satisfaction.
