Server Assistant, Gordon Ramsay-Part Time, Evenings

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance; arrives on time in a clean uniform with required name tag, ID, and licenses, ready to work with a positive, ready-to-learn attitude.
• Greets guests and team members warmly and professionally, supporting our Family Style Service culture.
• Works a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Supplies the dining room and individual tables with clean china, silver, glassware, utensils, condiments and paper supplies as needed.
• Maintains tables throughout service, clearing dishes between courses and empty glassware as necessary.
• Polishes all glassware and service items as necessary.
• Assists food servers in service of complimentary bottled water and bread service.
• Maintains a professional demeanor throughout service, assisting servers and captains as necessary.
• Completes station side work, stocks all service stations.
• Performs other related duties as requests by the management or waiter/waitress.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Communicates effectively and maintains positive working relationships with guests, coworkers, and management.
• Possesses a keen sense of timing and is capable of discreetly speeding up or slowing down his/her service as necessary.
• Must pass the required background check.
• Work requires attention to detail and ability to adhere to standards in a gourmet dining atmosphere.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must obtain a Food Handlers certificate from County Health Department.
• Must present a neat and professional appearance.
• Works well with others, especially other server assistants, wait people, bartenders, cooks, supervisors, etc.
• Requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
