Job Description
Job Summary
Aid food servers in bussing and re-setting of tables in assigned stations, alongside ongoing dining room and restroom cleanliness and maintenance. May also assist in refilling non-alcoholic beverages, serving bread/chips, or other specified food products.
- Complete all designated cleaning/stocking/maintenance duties according to established timelines.
- Assist servers in bussing and re-setting of tables in assigned stations.
- Maintain assigned areas of responsibility during service periods, such as restrooms, restaurant entrances, service stations, building exteriors, etc.
- Perform pre-shift, running shift, and post-shift setup, preparation, cleaning, and stocking as directed by management and in compliance with established company standards.
- Collaborate with other Bus People/Team Members as needed.
- Have a thorough understanding of the restaurant, including its hours of operation, menu items, and guest policies.
- Engage guests upon departure and encourage them to return.
- Ensure a respectful and safe environment for all guests and employees.
- Complete assigned weekly cleaning projects.
- Preserve the professional image of the restaurant, including maintaining cleanliness, proper attire, and appearance standards.
- Contribute to other job duties as directed by the Manager.

Physical Requirements
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds continuously throughout the shift.
- Ability to perform tasks that involve bending, twisting the upper body, grasping, and handling small, heavy objects like plates, silverware, and glasses.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and listen attentively to guests and employees.
- Must comply with relevant health and safety regulations.
Required Experience
- Minimum 6 months of experience working in a full-service restaurant concept, preferably in a busperson role.
- Experience as a busperson in a full-service restaurant for at least 6 months to 1 year.
Additional Information
- Must comprehend the chemicals used in the work environment.
- Team members are expected to work collaboratively with minimal supervision while interacting effectively with other team members.
