About the role
Supports the operations team in managing server infrastructure and ensuring high availability.
Responsibilities
- Monitor server performance and resolve issues promptly.
- Implement and maintain server security measures.
- Perform routine backups and disaster recovery tests.
- Collaborate with developers to optimize server resources.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in server administration.
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix systems.
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash).
- Knowledge of networking protocols and firewalls.
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Nagios).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Skills
- Linux/Unix command line proficiency.
- Cloud service management (AWS, Azure).
- Scripting and automation (Bash, Python).
