Server Assistant

The server assistant safely and efficiently provides excellent customer service with a smile, ensuring guests feel good about their dining experience and become loyal customers. Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing the expo line and carry-out supplies for service.
• Fill condiment containers, ice, and other items needed for fast execution of meal running.
• Know the menu, including prices, food and beverage composition, daily specials, and proper plating procedures.
• Up-sell and suggestively sell food and beverages by describing items in an appealing way.
• Provide courteous guest service and respond to guest requests.
• Use the POS system to ring in orders, confirm orders by repeating them back, and clarify any doubts, food allergies, or guest concerns before sending to the kitchen.
• Close guest checks to the appropriate form of payment and file securely until the end of the shift.
• Stock supplies daily, including condiments, plates, glassware, silverware, trays, napkins, flowers, printer paper, check presenters, and pens.
• Clean and stock refrigerators with juices, sodas, waters, and milk.

Requirements

• Prior customer service experience is preferred.
• High school diploma and/or equivalent work experience preferred, but not required.

Skills

• Provide high-level customer service.
• Communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Follow instructions and learn quickly.
• Pay attention to detail and maintain composure under pressure.
• Demonstrate strong phone skills.

Pay

$14.00 per hour + tips.
