Server Assistant

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Aid servers in clearing and resetting tables promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining room, service stations, and surrounding areas.
• Refill water glasses and assist with guest needs as directed.
• Support servers in delivering food and condiments when necessary.
• Restock supplies to ensure readiness for service.
• Communicate effectively with team members for smooth service.
• Assist with floor setup and breakdown before and after service.
• Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Contribute to a positive guest experience through a friendly and professional demeanor.

  Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Excellent communication and guest service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • South Carolina ServSafe Alcohol Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire) required.
