Responsibilities

  • Set up work areas and perform assigned side work duties outlined in the training manual and any other additional work as told by the manager on duty
  • Assist in expediting food from the kitchen ensuring that each dish is correct with proper garnishes and sauces
  • Ensuring that each dish is correctly placed at the right table and seat number
  • Help in performing table maintenance during the meals (i.e. replenishing waters, clearing plates, clearing trash on tables)
  • Maintains all work areas during the shift making sure they stay stocked and ready for the next team member
  • Follows all sanitation and safety procedures
  • Anticipates guest needs. Advises manager on duty of any member or guest issue
  • Performs proper clean-up and closing duties as assigned by the closing manager along with what is required in the training manual
  • Attends all pre-shift meeting to learn of daily specials and any announcements for the staff
  • Work closely with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to maintain smooth service flow
  • Affords any tasks requested by management
  • Affords at any other dining area as needed by management

Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • Experience: 1 year of restaurant service or related experience preferred
  • Skills: Good communication skills required, ability to multi-task and work with others required. Natural customer service skills, hard work ethic and willing to be part of team required. Excellent phone skills and customer interaction required.
