Server Assistant at Pacific Point Lounge (Part-Time)

About the role

The Server Assistant is responsible primarily for assisting the Server in serving the guest. This person must have good communication skills as well as the ability to lift, pull and push moderate weight. This is a fast paced position with continual customer contact.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for greeting and welcoming guests
• Understand customer’s needs and provide them with personalized solutions
• Communicate with all other server and colleagues efficiently and effectively
• Ensure orderliness and safety guidelines around the restaurant

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
• Refined verbal and written communication skills
• Experience and thorough understanding of guest services
• Previous experiences in a luxury resort preferred
• Must possess a professional presentation
• Outstanding guest services skills, sophisticated verbal & written communication skills
• Highly responsible and reliable
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight
• Ability to stand for long periods of time

Pay

The hourly rate for the position is $18.50.
