Position Summary
The Server Assistant plays a key role in creating an exceptional dining experience for club members and guests. Working alongside servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff, this position ensures efficient service, maintains a clean and welcoming environment, and supports both daily dining operations and special events.

Key Responsibilities
- Refill water, coffee, bread, and other table necessities as requested
- Stock service stations with linens, glassware, silverware, and condiments
- Assist with opening and closing side work duties
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of indoor and outdoor dining spaces
- Support members and guests by responding promptly to requests and directing questions to appropriate team members
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and club service standards
- Assist with event setup, execution, and breakdown for banquets, private events, and member functions
- Work collaboratively with all Food & Beverage team members to ensure efficient operations
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, hospitality, country club, or customer service experience preferred, but not required
- ServSafe Certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification upon hire
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Positive attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional member and guest service
- Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a professional appearance
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events
- Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments as operational needs require
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout a shift
- Ability to frequently bend, stoop, reach, lift, and carry items as part of daily responsibilities
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to safely navigate dining rooms, event spaces, stairways, and uneven outdoor surfaces
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions, including heat, humidity, cold, and light precipitation when supporting outdoor dining and events
- Ability to perform duties in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of service and attention to detail
