About the role
The Collections Officer position is available at a fast-growing, leading Australian Financial Services Company in St Leonards, NSW.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with clients and finance vendors in relation to overdue accounts and provide solutions for clients.
- Assist clients to refinance their payment terms and re-establish regular monthly payments at a mutually agreed rate.
- Work alongside the Client Services team, providing high level customer service and assisting clients with ad hoc enquiries regarding their existing accounts.
Requirements
- Firm but customer-orientated approach and the ability to 'workshop' solutions fairly.
- Proven experience in financial services / credit / collections / operations.
- Strong attention to detail with an ability to work to strict deadlines.
- The ability to manage both internal and external stakeholder expectations.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Experience in asset or equipment finance is desirable.
Pay
A very competitive remuneration depending on experience.
Schedule
Full time (38hr week) Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm.
