Septic Service Technician

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Septic Service Technicians to support our residential property portfolio.

This is a 1099 contractor role offering flexible, appointment-based scheduling. Work is assigned based on service calls, inspections, and maintenance needs, allowing you to accept jobs that fit your availability.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, pump, and service septic systems
• Diagnose system issues and recommend repairs or maintenance
• Maintain and service drain fields and related components
• Ensure proper disposal and compliance with environmental regulations
• Perform routine maintenance to prevent system failures
• Communicate job status, findings, and completion updates

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Prior septic system service experience (required)
• Proper licensing/certification for septic services (State of Florida, if applicable)
• Must have access to necessary equipment (pump truck or service partnerships)
• Knowledge of septic systems, drain fields, and maintenance procedures
• Able to diagnose issues and recommend solutions
• Understanding of environmental regulations and safety standards
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and professionalism
• Able to work independently and manage service calls
