Safety and Compliance

• Performs Daily Pre and Post Trip inspections as set forth by Waste Pro procedures and D.O.T. guidelines.
• Completes Safety Lane activity and DVIR daily in accordance with Waste Pro safety lane guidelines.
• Maintains clean truck and washes exterior weekly.
• Uses air gauge, dipstick for levels, and gas pump nozzle for gas fill.

Service and Maintenance

• Safely drives service truck to and from pre-designated work sites based on daily routing information in accordance with Decision Driving principles.
• Drains moisture trap, oil catch muffler, and maintains oil level in pump.
• Empty truck at pump station as needed.
• Restocks paper products, hand sanitizer, soap, etc. in units being serviced.
• Cleans interior and exterior of units, makes repairs of needed, and adds chemical solution to portable restroom units.

Customer Service

• Provides Distinguishably Different level of service through courteous and expeditious customer service in all aspects of service to customers.
• Exhibits a positive attitude towards company, customer and municipal goals.
• Answers questions for customers and directs them to contact Customer Service or Dispatch for additional information.

Other Duties

• Performs other tasks as required -- such as, but not limited to, assisting other routes for completion, attending community events, or delivery of bins and/or carts.
• Responsible for all persons working on vehicle during the designated route.
• May be required to work during emergency situations.
