SEO Supervisor

About the role

The SEO Supervisor at Razorfish will oversee the development and execution of content and technical SEO strategies, ensuring clients are visible across both search engines and AI answer engines. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify growth opportunities, present findings to clients, and measure results.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the development and execution of content and technical SEO strategies, tactics, and deliverables.
• Develops and performs detailed site audits to identify issues and ensure proper optimization for search engine and AI visibility.
• Maintains internal technical/content resources such as checklists and style guides.
• Crafts keyword lists and reports.
• Serves as the client point-of-contact for day-to-day SEO programs.
• Understands clients' overarching marketing objectives and translates them into actionable recommendations.
• Presents strategy/technical/content findings to clients and prepares routine/ad-hoc reports for clients and internal teams.
• Measures results and creates actionable insights and recommendations based on data.
• Collaborates with team leaders, monitors quality, accuracy, and timeliness of team communications and deliverables.
• Cultivates client relationships and assists in driving client business.
• Aids in new business pitches and identifies opportunities to grow existing business.
• Identifies opportunities and relevant industry insights.
• Produces ongoing thought capital.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in SEO with a strong focus on commerce and content.
• Understanding how to adapt SEO findings for AI platforms.
• Familiarity with large-scale websites (over 20M pages) and ability to diagnose issues related to traffic and indexation.
• Proficiency in prioritizing recommendations into projects and roadmaps.
• Confident presentation of SEO strategies to mid- and senior-level clients.
• Strong knowledge of SEO/GEO tools such as SEMRush, Conductor, BrightEdge, Screaming Frog, DeepCrawl, Botify, Profound, Google Search Console, etc.
• Ability to develop SEO content/content strategies and field questions/offer advice.
• Experience working independently with minimal supervision and excellent verbal/written communication skills.
