About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented SEO Specialist to join our team in San Francisco. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective SEO strategies aimed at improving website visibility, search engine rankings, and organic traffic growth. As a vital member of the digital marketing team, you will collaborate with content creators, developers, and marketing professionals to implement on-page and off-page SEO initiatives that align with our clients’ business goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3 to 7 years of proven experience in SEO, digital marketing, or website optimization
  • Certifications in SEO and digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, HubSpot, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz (highly preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SEO tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Moz
  • Technical SEO expertise including website audits, fixing crawl errors, optimizing site speed, and implementing structured data
  • Experience in content optimization, SEO copywriting, and collaboration with content teams
  • Knowledge of local SEO, voice search optimization, and schema markup
  • Ability to conduct competitor analysis and market research to identify growth opportunities
  • Understanding of Core Web Vitals and experience in CRO and A/B testing
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a problem-solving mindset

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to enhance website rankings and organic traffic
  • Optimize on-page elements such as meta tags, headers, URLs, image alt texts, and internal linking structures
  • Conduct thorough keyword research and analysis to identify high-potential opportunities aligned with search intent
  • Perform regular technical SEO audits to identify and resolve crawl errors, duplicate content, and indexing issues
  • Collaborate with content creators to develop SEO-friendly content that aligns with targeted keywords and user engagement metrics
  • Develop and execute ethical off-page SEO and link-building strategies to increase domain authority
  • Manage local SEO efforts including Google My Business optimization, local citations, and geo-targeted content
  • Implement schema markup and structured data to improve search engine understanding and rich snippet appearances
  • Optimize websites for mobile-first indexing and voice search queries to improve SERP performance
  • Monitor and analyze SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs
  • Conduct competitor analysis to benchmark strategies and identify new opportunities
  • Improve website performance by enhancing Core Web Vitals and page load speeds in collaboration with developers
  • Execute A/B testing and conversion optimization initiatives to improve CTR, bounce rates, and user engagement
  • Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including content marketing, web development, and design to ensure SEO best practices are integrated across all channels
