SEO/GEO Specialist

About the Role

Noetic Creative is looking for a freelance SEO-GEO Specialist to support our growing portfolio of clients across a variety of industries. This role is ideal for a strategic and hands-on search marketing professional who understands both traditional SEO and the evolving landscape of AI-powered search. As an extension of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing organic growth strategies, identifying opportunities to improve search visibility, and helping clients increase their presence across both search engines and generative AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews. You’ll collaborate closely with Account Managers, content creators, designers, developers, and media buyers to drive measurable business results through organic search and AI-driven discovery.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in SEO within an agency or performance-driven environment.
• Proven experience owning SEO initiatives end-to-end, from strategy and audits to implementation, optimization, and reporting.
• Strong understanding of technical SEO, on-page optimization, content strategy, topical authority, and link acquisition.
• Experience developing and executing organic growth strategies that drive measurable business outcomes.
• Familiarity with GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) and evolving search experiences, including AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
• Experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously while maintaining a high bar for quality and consistency.
• High level of autonomy and accountability — comfortable working with minimal oversight.
• Comfortable working as a freelancer, managing time, priorities, and client expectations responsibly.
