About the Role

Responsible for building and implementing the company’s overall SEO strategy to grow organic traffic, top-ranking keywords, and organic conversions. The SEO Manager oversees all aspects of SEO — including technical, on-page, off-page, and content optimization — and leads the SEO Executive team to ensure every website operates efficiently, sustainably, and in full compliance with Google’s standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • SEO Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute short- and long-term SEO strategies for each brand, including keyword roadmaps, content clusters, linking strategies, and technical audits. Conduct competitor, market, and search intent analyses to guide content direction. Collaborate with Content and Digital teams to build content hubs/pillar–cluster systems that enhance user journeys. Prepare quarterly/monthly SEO execution plans, assign manpower, and set project KPIs.
  • Execution & Optimization: Supervise on-page optimization (keyword mapping, title, meta, heading, schema, internal linking, UX). Propose and review technical SEO improvements: crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, structured data, and site performance. Manage off-page activities: link-building, outreach, PR SEO, brand mentions, and backlink profile quality. Coordinate with the Dev/Web team to resolve technical SEO issues (404, redirects, canonicals, sitemaps, robots.txt). Track and evaluate campaign performance metrics — traffic, impressions, ranking, and conversions.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Monitor and analyze data using Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and Looker Studio. Identify ranking fluctuations, CTR patterns, and user behavior changes; diagnose causes and recommend solutions. Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports for the Marketing Director and clients (if applicable). Forecast organic growth trends and propose ROI-improvement roadmaps.
  • Team Management & Development: Supervise and coach SEO Executives; guide both technical and content-oriented SEO practices. Build and maintain standard SEO processes (SOPs): keyword research, on-page checklist, content briefs, periodic audits. Evaluate team performance, review KPIs, and foster continuous learning through algorithm updates and SEO innovations.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, IT, or related fields. SEO or Google Analytics (GA4) certification is an advantage.
  • Experience: Minimum 6 years in SEO, including 3+ years in a managerial or team-lead role. Proven success in developing and executing SEO strategies for websites exceeding 100k monthly organic visits. Experience handling large-scale SEO projects (E-commerce, News, or Multi-brand platforms). Deep understanding of Google algorithms, technical SEO, and advanced SEO hacking.
  • Skills: Proficient in SEO tools: Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, SurferSEO. Strong analytical, planning, and reporting skills using Looker Studio / Excel. Solid understanding of UX/UI and their impact on conversion. Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration with Content, Dev, and Brand teams. Effective time management and problem-solving skills. Up-to-date with the latest Google Core Updates and EEAT principles.
  • Key Attention Points: Proven SEO case studies showing measurable organic growth or keyword ranking improvements. Experience recovering websites affected by Google Core Updates. Understanding of Topic Cluster, Semantic SEO, and Entity Optimization models. Familiar with multiple CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, HubSpot, custom CMS). Ability to translate search behavior data into actionable content insights. Experience managing and training a 3–5 person SEO team across multiple projects. Bonus: Experience integrating SEO with Performance Marketing (Full-Funnel strategy).

About the Role

Execute, monitor, and optimize all SEO activities — on-page, technical, off-page, and content — following the overall strategy set by the SEO Manager. The SEO Executive plays a hands-on role in ensuring that SEO implementation is accurate, measurable, and delivers sustainable website performance and organic growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • On-page SEO Optimization: Conduct keyword research, segmentation, and clustering based on campaign objectives and search intent. Optimize meta titles, descriptions, headings, internal links, schemas, alt text, and URLs following SEO best practices. Prepare SEO content briefs for Content teams and edit content aligned with EEAT standards (Experience – Expertise – Authority – Trust). Track and improve CTR from SERP through snippet optimization, FAQ schema, and featured snippet targeting.
  • Technical SEO Maintenance: Identify and fix crawl/index errors (404, redirects, canonicals, sitemaps, robots.txt). Monitor Core Web Vitals, page speed, and mobile usability; collaborate with developers to resolve technical issues. Use Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, and Semrush for regular audits. Report technical findings and propose fixes to the SEO Manager and development team.
  • Off-page SEO & Backlink Management: Analyze and monitor backlink profiles; disavow harmful links. Support link-building, guest posting, social signals, and digital PR campaigns. Maintain accurate link-tracking records and verify placements regularly.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor keyword rankings, traffic, CTR, and conversions weekly/monthly. Consolidate performance data from GSC, GA4, and Ahrefs into Looker Studio dashboards. Present insights and propose actions to enhance SEO performance.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, E-commerce, or IT.
  • Experience: 3–5 years of SEO experience covering on-page, off-page, and technical optimization. Proven track record of managing websites achieving >10,000 organic sessions per month. Experience writing or editing SEO-friendly content. Preferably experienced with eCommerce or multi-category SEO projects.
  • Skills: Skilled in SEO tools: Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, Keyword Tool, etc. Knowledge of Entity SEO, Topic Clustering, and Internal Linking Strategies. Strong analytical and Excel/Google Sheets skills; basic reporting with Looker Studio. Logical writing and data-driven content optimization. Independent, detail-oriented, and proactive problem solver with solid teamwork abilities.
  • Key Attention Points: Must provide real SEO case studies (keyword ranking, traffic growth, technical fixes). Strong grasp of search intent, semantic search, and keyword clustering. Experience with WordPress, Shopify, or other popular CMS platforms. Familiarity with EEAT-compliant content and collaboration with content teams. Understanding of Google Core Updates and the ability to troubleshoot ranking losses. English proficiency for researching and optimizing international keywords is a plus.
