About the role
Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Staff Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst to support the Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) Division in Roy, UT. This position focuses on sustainment, development, production, and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities, and associated infrastructure.

Responsibilities
- Prepares, develops, and coordinates the integrated master plan and integrated master schedule to meet all program objectives.
- Ensures major projects and program schedules are horizontally and vertically integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality.
- Tracks plans and schedules, performs risk analysis, and identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts.
- Utilizes Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management, and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of related professional experience OR a Master's degree with 10 years of related professional experience OR a PhD with 8 years of related professional experience. 16 years of related experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD security clearance (e.g., Secret, Top Secret).
- Experience with P6 Primavera, Deltek Open Plan, Microsoft Project, Deltek Cobra/MPM, Deltek Acumen, or other Schedule Risk Assessment software tools.
- Experience working in a P6 Primavera environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel (including Macro/VBA).
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically 10% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Program Cost Analysis, or Program Scheduling.
- Experience with P6 Primavera Data Structures.
- 2+ years of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience.
- Experience in multi-project/schedule environments.
- Experience integrating subcontractor schedule data with prime schedule data.
- Aerospace/Defense industry experience.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment, with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

Pay
Primary level salary range: $139,000.00 - $208,600.00. The final offer considers scope and responsibilities of the position, as well as the candidate’s experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Employees may also be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses reward individual contributions and company results. Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
Schedule
This position follows a 9/80 work schedule, allowing employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
