Responsibilities

  • Apply ASME standard processes and procedures to identify, design, and procure electrical and mechanical hardware.
  • Support design of integrated assemblies in accordance with decomposed requirements, compliance documents, and architecture diagrams in order to support the Sentinel critical design review campaign.
  • Affiliate in trade studies, Analysis of Alternatives, and create design artifacts to include 3-dimensional models and product definition packages which will be documented and released using Siemens- based Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and modeling (NX) tools.
  • Operate in and capture inputs from a multi-disciplinary engineering environment consisting of Systems, Software, Design, Compliance, and Hardware engineers.

Requirements

  • This position may be filled as an Engineer (level 2) or Principal Engineer (level 3) either depending on years of experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM field
  • Minimum of 2 years (level 2) or 5 years (level 3) of relevant experience
  • U.S. Citizen
  • Active Secret clearance at time of application, current and within scope
  • The ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
  • Experience performing CAD modeling with design tools such as Siemens NX or similar
  • Experience using Microsoft (MS) Word, Excel, Power Point, and Engineering - Scheduling tools and applications
  • Experience resolving issues and providing technical support
  • Capable of working under general supervision and in team environments

Pay

  • Primary Level Salary Range: $72,100.00 - $108,200.00
  • Secondary Level Salary Range: $89,400.00 - $134,100.00
