About the role
We are seeking a Sensory Panel Manager to lead and manage sensory panels within our organization. The role involves overseeing the development and execution of sensory testing protocols, analyzing data, and providing insights to support product development and quality assurance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning and execution of sensory testing protocols
- Analyze sensory data and provide actionable insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on sensory testing objectives
- Develop and maintain relationships with external sensory consultants and clients
- Conduct regular training sessions for panelists and team members
- Prepare and present reports on sensory findings to stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Psychology, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in sensory evaluation and analysis
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret sensory data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with sensory software and tools
Qualifications
- Knowledge of sensory evaluation methodologies and techniques
- Experience with sensory panel management systems
- Understanding of food science principles and product development

- Strong organizational and time management skills
