About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Mixed-Signal System Design Engineer to design, develop, and integrate complex electronic systems for advanced ATE platforms. This role owns hardware from early system definition through production, working closely with internal cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-performance products at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Design complete electronic systems from requirements through integration, including schematic capture, PCB layout, bring-up, and validation.
  • Develop high-complexity, multi-domain hardware such as compute carrier boards, power distribution, sensing, and communications.
  • Architect and implement high-power and high-speed designs, including redundant power domains, high-current paths, and modern digital interfaces.
  • Design supporting electronics such as protocol converters, system controllers, and custom power solutions.
  • Debug new and existing hardware and manufacturing issues using measurements, experiments, and structured root-cause analysis.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to support DFM/DFA, on-site testing, bring-up, and pre-production validation.
  • Perform hands-on rework and rapid prototype builds when needed to solve time-critical problems.

Technical Focus Areas

  • System-level hardware design and integration
  • High-power electronics and power conversion
  • High-speed digital and mixed-signal design
  • Manufacturing bring-up and production support

Requirements

  • 8 years of experience with schematic capture, PCB layout, and hardware bring-up.
  • Proven ability to design and debug complex, high-component-count boards.
  • Experience with high-current power systems and mixed-signal electronics.
  • Hands-on experience working with contract manufacturers and production hardware.
  • Solid understanding of embedded hardware architectures and system integration.
  • Ability to work independently on ambiguous problems and deliver end-to-end solutions.

Preferred Experience

  • Direct ATE experience
  • Safety-critical hardware design
  • High-speed interfaces and RF-adjacent systems
  • Power electronics and current sensing
