About the role

The Electronics Service Engineer is responsible for the timely completion of assigned repair, warranty, and preventive‑maintenance service on Sennheiser audio equipment. The role involves direct interaction with customers regarding the technical aspects of completed or potential repairs and requires the ability to work independently on professional audio and video equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair, warranty, and preventive‑maintenance service on Sennheiser microphones, headphones, speakers, digital audio interfaces, networking devices, and wireless systems.
• Diagnose and repair complex equipment at all levels without supervision.
• Interpret and work from electronic schematics.
• Interface directly with customers to discuss technical details of repairs and potential solutions.
• Maintain documentation of service activities and follow safety standards.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree (A.S.) or equivalent from a two‑year college/technical school, **or** two to four years of related experience.
• No electrical license required; familiarity with electrical safety standards for device‑level repair is preferred.

Skills

• Experience with standard and advanced wireless systems, wired microphones, headphones, speakers, digital audio interfaces, and networking devices.
• Ability to diagnose and repair complex equipment without supervision.
• Understanding of electronic schematics.
• Knowledge of software/hardware hybrid products.
• Familiarity with digital audio protocols such as DANTE, AES67, or similar.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
