Senior Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney

Summary Seeking an experienced Senior Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney to join our team. Responsibilities Manage workers' compensation defense cases from inception through resolution.Represent employers, insurance carriers, self-insured entities, and TPAs throughout the litigation process.Take and defend depositions.Appear at MSCs, lien conferences, hearings, and trials before the WCAB.Develop litigation strategies and provide practical legal guidance to clients.Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes efficiently and effectively.Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication and trusted legal counsel.Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to achieve strong client outcomes.Independently manage an assigned caseload. Qualifications Active California State Bar license in good standing.Minimum 3 years of California workers' compensation defense experience.Strong knowledge of California workers' compensation law and WCAB procedures.Excellent deposition, negotiation, and litigation skills.Ability to independently manage a caseload.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
