Senior Welder Fitter – Salt Lake City, UT

Key Activities

• Assemble aluminum subassemblies and structures following technical drawings and work instructions
• Perform MIG and TIG welding operations with precision and integrity to complete car body structures
• Conduct finishing work on welded components, ensuring smooth surfaces and adherence to specifications
• Collaborate efficiently within a team, ensuring seamless coordination and timely project progress
• Maintain high-quality standards through inspections and adherence to production guidelines
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot welding equipment to ensure safety and functionality

Qualifications

• Vocational training or apprenticeship in welding
• American Welding Society (AWS) certification preferred
• Process-specific certifications in MIG (GMAW) and TIG (GTAW) welding
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in MIG and TIG welding
• Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques, preferably on aluminum
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions
• Teamwork experience collaborating effectively within a diverse, international group
