Senior Web Developer
About the role
As a Senior Web Developer at Buildertrend, you’ll help shape the digital experiences that connect residential construction professionals with the tools they need to build more efficiently and profitably. You’ll own meaningful web initiatives from technical strategy through deployment and measurement, while serving as a trusted technical partner to Marketing, Design, Analytics, Revenue Operations and Product Engineering. Your work will improve the performance, reliability, accessibility and security of Buildertrend’s public-facing websites and the customer journeys they support. Success in this role means the Web team is trusted to solve problems, make sound technical decisions and create web experiences that help builders spend less time on paperwork and more time growing their businesses.
Responsibilities
- Partner with marketing, design, Revenue Operations and other stakeholders to understand business needs and turn them into thoughtful technical solutions.
- Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain functionality across Buildertrend’s public-facing websites.
- Own complex web initiatives from discovery and technical planning through implementation, deployment, measurement and continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes, plugins, Gutenberg blocks, reusable components and integrations using PHP, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
