Senior Web Application Engineer - Tool Control Engineering

We are seeking a talented and motivated Full Stack Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain modern web applications that support business operations and customer-facing solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience across both front-end and back-end development, possess strong problem-solving skills, and be comfortable working throughout the entire software development lifecycle. As a Full Stack Web Developer, this individual will collaborate with product managers, designers, quality assurance personnel, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, reliable, and high-performing web applications. Responsibilities Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain web applications and APIsBuild responsive, accessible and user-friendly interfaces using modern front-end frameworksDevelop robust server-side applications, services and business logicCreate reusable code, components and libraries for future useOptimize applications for speeed, scalability, maintainability and reliabilityDesign and manage relational and non-relational databsesDevelop and maintain integrations with third-party systems, APIs and cloud servicesCollaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze and refine requirementsParticipate in architecture discussions, code reviews, sprint planning and technical design activitiesTroubleshoot and resolve application issues in development, test and production environmentsDocument technical designs, processes, APIs and system configurationsDevelop and execute unit, integrations and automated testsImplement secure development practices and comply with organizational standardsMonitor application performance and proactively address defects, vulnerabilities and reliabililty issuesContribute to continuous improvement initiatives and Agile development practicesAll other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experienceAt least three years of experience developing modern web applicationsStrong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript or TypeScript and SQLExperience wtih at least one modern front-end framework such as React, Angular, Blazor or Vue.jsExpereince with .NET back-end technologyExperience designing, developing and consuming RESTful APIs and web servicesExperience with MSSQL Server DatabasesFamiliarity with Azure DevOps and collaborative development workflowsStrong understanding of software development best practices, design patters, debuggin and testingExperience with Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and KubernetesKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation and DevOps practicesExperience with authentication and authorization technologies, including OAuth, SAML, and Single Sign-On (SS))Familiarity with WPF/XAMLFamiliarity with SQLite DatabasesFamiliarity with Agile or Scrum methodologiesExperience developing and supporting enterprise business applicationsMust have strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving abilitiesMust have clear written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesMust be self-motivated, organized and have attention to detailMust be collaborative, have a team-oriented mindset with a customer-focused approach Snap-on offers a competitive compensation package and a complete benefits package which includes which includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, an employee assistance program (EAP), a 401k Savings plan, a pension plan, a legal services plan, an employee stock purchase plan, a discount on Snap-on products and more.
