About the role

The team is looking for a seasoned engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, working at scale, and influencing the future of a growing digital ecosystem. Responsibilities

  • 40% Front-End Development (React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS)
  • 40% Back-End Development (PHP, WordPress/Drupal, API integrations)
  • 20% Architecture, Optimization, and Platform Modernization
  • 70% Hands-On Development
  • 15% Technical Planning and System Design
  • 15% Team Collaboration and Cross-Functional Work
  • Bonus eligible

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of experience building and supporting modern, production-grade web applications
  • Strong experience with WordPress or Drupal, including custom PHP development and extensibility
  • Proven experience supporting high-traffic, enterprise-level websites, including eCommerce platforms
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party services
  • Strong understanding of system design, architectural patterns, and performance optimization
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, product, design, and business teams
  • Experience leading or contributing to large technical initiatives or platform-level improvements
  • Experience in digital publishing, membership platforms, events, or nonprofit environments
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices
  • Experience working within complex, large-scale web ecosystems
  • Exposure to modern UI frameworks such as Tailwind CSS
