Duties And Responsibilities
- Direct, oversee repair activities, train, troubleshoot, diagnose, and maintain the following: MK45 MOD 2MK45 MOD 4MK38 MOD 2MK38 MOD 3MK110 Gun MountsMK46Small ArmsNight Vision DevicesCrew Served Weapons and MountsMagazine Sprinkler Systems (Legacy)Magazine Sprinkler Systems (Fairmont, Consilium, FDAS)
- Provide technical support for procurement, installation, at-sea testing, preventive/corrective maintenance, and lifecycle management of systems.
- Interpret technical manuals, apply repair standards, and maintain accurate technical documentation.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
- 10+ years of related experience with MK45 MOD2 or MK45 MOD4
- Navy Gunner’s Mate “A” School graduate
- Navy 5”/54 MK45 MOD2 “C” School or Navy 5”/54 MK45 MOD4 “C” School graduate
- Advanced knowledge and proficient in troubleshooting and maintaining associated systems
- Strong technical comprehension with the ability to read and interpret technical manuals, system drawings, and procedural corrective and repair standards
- Effective communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to provide technical findings orally and/or written
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related technical applications
Pay
The pay range for this role is $32.30-$48.00 Hourly. This is a reasonable estimate for this role. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
