Responsibilities

• Operates tools and equipment to accomplish job assignments and client requirements
• Inspects and interprets readings as required in real time, to determine areas of interest
• Applies testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications
• Sets up and calibrates all equipment used, interprets, evaluates, and documents results through formal reports
• Completes timely reports per client, company, and applicable standards
• Safely operates company vehicles and strictly adheres to company safety regulations
• Directs, mentors, and trains personnel in the method(s) in which they are certified and capable of
• Provides direction and guidance with the codes, standards, and other contractual documents that control the method as utilized by the company and client
• Assists in overseeing the quality assurance/quality control of the crews on same work assignment or location, and may provide customer interface for crews on same work assignment or locations

Requirements

• NDT Level II certification in RT
• Minimum of 3+ years of NDT experience with full documentation of prior training, experience, and certification
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Qualifications

• Technical background in NDT methods and techniques
• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite of products
• Excellent communication skills
• Good attention to detail and follow-through
• Knowledge of industry codes
• Firm adherence to Aegeus values and ethics

Skills

• Ability to set up and standardize equipment
• Ability to conduct tests, interpret, and evaluate findings in compliance with required specifications
• Ability to develop written work instructions from approved general procedures
• Ability to perform a wide variety of tasks and respond to short notice work assignments
• Ability to enforce and abide by the requirements of safe operation and personal safety using required Personal Protective Equipment and Safe Practices per company policy

Pay

The Pay Range for this position is USD $35-40/hr. Pay range for this job level is a general guideline only for States that enforces pay transparency and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, certifications, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
