Senior Water Resources Project Manager

About the role
We are looking to add a Project Manager to assist with large, cutting-edge projects in the Omaha area. You’ll work alongside the best engineers on the world’s most exciting and challenging projects, contributing to stream restoration, stormwater management, drainage, collection systems, water conveyance and storage, wastewater, and related transportation aspects for municipal, private, and state clients.
As a Project Manager, you’ll perform design engineering, oversee project design staff, ensure quality control, develop client relationships, prepare proposals, and assist with sales pursuits for water-related projects. You will lead multidisciplinary design teams, work directly with clients to meet schedules and budgets, and support business development strategies. Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of plans, specifications, cost estimates, model development, and analysis for water-related projects.
- Oversee and mentor a multidisciplinary design team.
- Manage project tasks within established schedules and budgets.
- Develop client relationships and assist with proposal preparation and sales pursuits.
- Perform design engineering and quality control for water resources projects.
- Support business development strategies and advance project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or a related engineering field.
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months of hire.
- At least 5 years of professional water resources engineering experience.
- Proven experience designing and leading small to large water-related projects.
- Strong technical writing and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Stream restoration experience.
- Wastewater treatment project experience.
- Experience managing teams of design professionals.
- Local candidates with a strong network among regional clients and broad civil engineering experience.
- Master’s degree (preferred).

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $124,500.00 to $217,800.00. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Schedule
Hybrid working policy allowing employees to split their work week between Jacobs offices/projects and remote locations.
