Responsibilities
- Deliver impactful water projects across Alaska, including conveyance, storage, water treatment, wastewater treatment, and planning initiatives that support community resilience.
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring high-quality technical delivery and seamless collaboration across engineering disciplines.
- Manage projects from concept through commissioning, driving schedule, budget, scope, and profitability while maintaining Jacobs’ rigorous quality and safety standards.
- Support business development efforts, including strategy development, positioning, proposal preparation, and contract negotiations.
- Champion a culture of caring, safety, inclusion, and quality, ensuring our teams feel supported and empowered to do their best work.
- Mentor and develop emerging talent, helping shape the next generation of water professionals at Jacobs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical preferred)
- Minimum 15 years of industry experience with direct project management responsibilities
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or ability to obtain within 1 year
- Proven experience managing and designing small to large water planning and infrastructure projects
- Demonstrated ability to build, support, and inspire high-performing teams
- Strong planning and organizational skills
Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management experience
- A strong network with Alaska municipalities, utilities, or other water/wastewater clients

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $144,600.00 to $226,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
