Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting and developing proposal development.
  • Helping to identify, hire, supervise and mentor junior drinking water staff.
  • Direct coordination and collaboration with clients.
  • Cordination with internal technical specialists in all practice areas and discipline design professionals for project delivery.
  • Managing projects to meet client expectations, budgets, and quality requirements.
  • Following internal Hazen processes to ensure quality delivery of engineering projects for clients.
  • Technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating assignments on small/medium/large projects.
  • Evaluating progress of the project staff and results obtained and recommending changes to achieve overall project objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in civil/environmental engineering.
  • PE license.
  • 12+ years of experience in municipal water treatment, water quality, water treatment technology, or manufacturing.
  • Experience in successfully delivering projects spanning multiple years in collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Proficient in all MS Office based computer software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and capable of interacting effectively with staff, clients, and regulatory agencies.
  • Self-starter with attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Must be capable of presenting complex issues to nontechnical people.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctorate) in Civil/Environmental Engineering.
