Key Responsibilities
- Supporting and developing proposal development.
- Helping to identify, hire, supervise and mentor junior drinking water staff.
- Direct coordination and collaboration with clients.
- Cordination with internal technical specialists in all practice areas and discipline design professionals for project delivery.
- Managing projects to meet client expectations, budgets, and quality requirements.
- Following internal Hazen processes to ensure quality delivery of engineering projects for clients.
- Technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating assignments on small/medium/large projects.
- Evaluating progress of the project staff and results obtained and recommending changes to achieve overall project objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil/environmental engineering.
- PE license.
- 12+ years of experience in municipal water treatment, water quality, water treatment technology, or manufacturing.
- Experience in successfully delivering projects spanning multiple years in collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams.
- Proficient in all MS Office based computer software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and capable of interacting effectively with staff, clients, and regulatory agencies.
- Self-starter with attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Must be capable of presenting complex issues to nontechnical people.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctorate) in Civil/Environmental Engineering.
