Location: Hodgkins, IL (Onsite 5 days/week) About The Role The Senior Operations Manager will oversee our Chicago operations and ensure facility operates safely, efficiently, and accurately. This role will prioritize workplace safety, oversee inventory control, and manage on-time order fulfillment to maintain high service standards and customer satisfaction. By streamlining processes, reducing operational waste, and enforcing compliance, the position will help control costs while building the capacity to support future growth. Responsibilities Operations & Growth Lead warehouse operations across inbound, outbound, inventory, and quality controlOptimize performance metrics and workflows to support rapid scalingMake data-driven decisions to identify and solve operational bottlenecksPlan labor needs and manage capacity during peak periods Leadership & Team Building Recruit, coach, and develop supervisors, leads, and warehouse associatesProvide hands-on floor leadership to build high-performing teamsSchedule and assign employees while maintaining accountability for resultsCreate urgency and followership across all warehouse teams Systems & Process Master Weee!'s operational systems, SOPs, and key performance metricsManage inventory accuracy through physical counts and system reconciliationPlan warehouse layouts, equipment maintenance, and operational improvementsLeverage WMS and productivity systems to drive performance insights Compliance & Safety Ensure compliance with warehousing, shipping, and OSHA safety requirementsEstablish security procedures and safety protocolsMaintain flexible shift coverage for continuous operations Profit & Loss Management Manage operating costs including daily supplies (office/warehouse/janitorial), packaging materials, and equipment repairsAnalyze cost variances and implement corrective actionsDrive cost-efficient operations while maintaining quality standards Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or Supply Chain15+ years warehouse/fulfillment experience in high-volume environments5+ years managing large, multi-layered teamsExperience with WMS systems, productivity metrics, and quality auditsAdvanced Excel skills and strong computer proficiencyFood & Beverage industry experience strongly preferredHigh energy leader who creates urgency and inspires teamsDetail-oriented problem solver who gets into operational detailsQuick learner who thinks clearly under pressureTeam developer who coaches others and builds capabilityAdaptable and thrives in fast-paced, changing environments Preferred Bilingual in English and SpanishFlexibility to work varied schedules Benefits Comprehensive health insurance package, including medical, dental, and vision. Points credits Compensation Range The US base salary range for this full-time position is $135,000 - $155,000This role may be eligible to discretionary bonus, incentives and benefits Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base salary for new hires for the position across all US locations.
