Senior Visual Designer

About the role

The Senior Visual Designer at Vital Design will play a key role in creating award-winning web solutions for clients ranging from small local businesses to international enterprises. Reporting to the Design Lead, this position involves collaborating with a team of designers and developers to plan and execute projects.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining visual identities for clients
• Creating high-quality mockups and prototypes for web and mobile applications
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure design consistency across platforms
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
• Conducting design reviews and providing constructive feedback
• Staying updated with the latest design trends and technologies

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of web and interactive design experience
• Proficiency in Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Experience with After Effects
• Strong conceptual thinking and design capabilities in web, responsive, blog, UI, and brand development
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Effective communication and listening skills
• Ability to provide and receive constructive criticism
• Resourcefulness and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively

Qualifications

• Education in graphic design, web design, or related field
• Portfolio showcasing previous work
• Experience with HTML/CSS and a basic understanding of web development

Schedule

Flexible Work from Home Schedule: Fluid workday hours (we just ask that you find time for 8 hours of work). Freedom to choose a hybrid WFH and/or in-office schedule.
