Senior Video Editor with Motion Graphics

Our client, a global CPG company, is looking for a Senior Video Editor with Motion Graphics to join a newly formed and growing motion team starting on or before the week of 9/28. Ideally, you're local to NYC and able to go onsite 1-2 days per week in the downtown office (can work from home on remaining days, role is 40 hrs/week). This role is ~1 months to start, with the opportunity to extend for the right person.In this role, the Senior Video Editor with Motion Graphics will be creating sizzle reels and branded motion pieces to be used across digital, OOH, brand activations, toolkits, social, etc. for a range of well known beverage brands. You'll be joining a team of two, working on both designing and animating graphics. Responsibilities include:- Cutting existing video pieces together to create exciting, high energy sizzle reels - Selecting music to cut into graphics and images - Be able to fill in gaps during the animation process; e.g., recreate existing elements in new perspectives as needed - Comfortably flexing between projects for different brands with distinct design systems dailyRequirements for the Senior Video Editor with Motion Graphics include:- At least 5+ years of video and motion experience in well known agencies or in-house teams - Contemporary, fun, high energy design style - Strong executional skills, ability to thrive in a very fast-paced agency environment - Portfolio of work that demonstrates excellent sense of timing, detail, sound and composition - Strong understanding of working file builds - Excellent Premier, AfterEffects, Illustrator, Photoshop skills; 3D skills (Cinema 4D or Blendr) are a plus but not required! - Excited to work in a fast-paced, fun environment - Takes feedback well, works well in an onsite setting - Own laptop!In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
