Motion Graphics Designer / Video Editor

About The Role

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Remote Motion Graphics Designer / Video Editor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing engaging promotional videos, animated advertisements, short-form social media content, and various motion graphics for both Coalition Technologies and our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video editing, motion graphics, storytelling, and animation, with a keen eye for visual appeal and digital marketing effectiveness. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including graphic designers, copywriters, and digital strategists, to develop compelling visual content that enhances brand presence and supports marketing campaigns.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in motion graphics and video editing
• Proficiency with industry-standard video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro)
• Ability to produce short-form promotional videos from concept to final cut
• Familiarity with social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube
• Own camera, lighting, and editing space for independent video production
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Experience presenting creative concepts professionally to clients
• Available to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time

Responsibilities

• Create promotional videos and animated banners for Coalition Technologies and client campaigns
• Develop short-form videos optimized for social media platforms such as Instagram Stories, Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok
• Design and produce text animations, logo animations, character animations, and other motion graphics for various digital media
• Follow creative briefs, working with scripts, design assets, footage, and client direction
• Develop video concepts, write scripts, and create storyboards when necessary
• Participate in client meetings to present ideas and gather feedback
• Collaborate with digital producers to strategize video and animation plans aligned with client goals
• Work closely with graphic designers, copywriters, PPC specialists, and other team members to establish project vision and creative direction
• Balance visual appeal with performance metrics for advertising and social media campaigns
• Encode videos in required formats and upload to media platforms or other distribution channels
• Stay updated with the latest trends in storytelling, video production, motion graphics, and social media marketing
• Ensure timely project delivery while adhering to quality standards and company methodologies
