Senior Vice President, Ticket Sales & Service- Penn State
Role Overview
The Senior Vice President of Ticket Sales & Service will lead and manage a team responsible for ticket sales and retention for Penn State. Tasked with delivering on annual ticket sales revenue goals, this position includes the high-profile opportunity to work directly on selling-out lead the sales campaign to sell out Penn State's revitalized West Shore Home Field at Beaver Stadium, opening in the Fall of 2027.
Responsibilities
- Provide executive leadership for the Premium Ticket Sales & Service and Ticket Sales & Service teams, while maintaining direct oversight of ticketing performance marketing and analytics to optimize revenue, fan engagement, and business performance.
- Serve as a strategic sales leader in the launch and long-term success of the West Shore Home Field at Beaver Stadium Revitalization project, overseeing premium seating sales strategy (including Executive Suites, Loge Boxes, and the Schuyler and Marzano Clubs within the new PAM Health Misitano Family Tower), seat selection operations, new revenue initiatives, and the transition of existing Season Ticket Members into the new venue experience.
- Lead the sales team tasked with selling season, group, and single-game tickets for Penn State's ticketed athletics programs, including football, wrestling, men's hockey, men's and women's basketball, and women's volleyball.
- Meet or exceed annual team ticket sales and/or retention goals.
- Work closely with the Elevate analytics teams to identify quality leads and monitor revenue pipeline, adjusting as necessary to create sustainable growth.
- Develop and maintain a competitive sales team culture, leading sales team meetings and training sessions.
- Establish service and retention-oriented processes to attentively respond to all Season Ticket Member and customer requests, concerns, and inquiries.
- Manage team to effectively balance service calls and touchpoints with outbound sales responsibilities in an effort to maintain overall customer satisfaction.
- Train sales and service team to identify opportunities for up-sells, add-ons, and referral business from clients to maximize revenue.
- Work alongside the Elevate and Penn State marketing teams to optimize online sales performance, driving potential ticket buyers to place deposits for and purchase season, partial, groups, premium and single game tickets online.
- Plan and implement events for existing Season Ticket Members and general fans.
- Establish processes to optimize service efficiency through Season Ticket Members' use of online account management (Account Manager).
- Manage team's game day duties, including but not limited to, hosting member events, sales meetings, and service needs.
- Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

Education And/or Experience
- Eight (8) years of experience in ticket sales
- Minimum four (4) years in management role leading a ticket sales team
- Proven ability to develop and train staff and identify future sales leaders
- History as a top revenue producer for a sports and/or entertainment organization
- Track record of achieving and surpassing sales goals

The incumbent primarily works in an office environment; however, they are expected to attend athletic event(s) and/or department events as scheduled throughout the year.

This position may require a limited amount of travel on rare occasions.
