Senior Vice President, Technology Strategist
About the role
The Senior Vice President, Technology Strategist role is located in Pittsburgh, PA. This role is responsible for developing and implementing practice strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting market analysis, designing and overseeing projects, advocating for technology-driven innovation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement practice strategies by leveraging expertise in engineering, product management and business management to support organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize practice initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and enhancing client value.
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis to anticipate trends and provide strategic insights for decision-making.
- Design and oversee the execution of projects, ensuring they meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget.
- Advocate for technology-driven innovation by promoting the adoption of new tools and practices that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies by maintaining robust governance frameworks and risk management practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
- Advanced degree or certifications in technology management is preferred.
- 10-12 years of related experience required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
- Strong strategic system thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute strategies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in analysis, product and project management, with a keen eye for identifying trends and opportunities.
- Demonstrates the ability to effectively leverage AI-enabled tools and data-driven insights to improve decision-making, productivity, and business outcomes.
