This integrated and agile thinker and adept data storyteller excels at solving complex challenges and uncovering new opportunities for clients through actionable insights, intelligence, and strategy.

As the Senior Vice President of Research & Integrated Analytics on our Audience | Intelligence | Performance (AIP) Team, you will design, manage, execute, and deliver research and integrated analytics client engagements. Collaborating closely with integrated teams across Avoq, you will serve as a catalyst to advance a forward-thinking culture and help clients optimize research, analytics, reporting, and intelligence projects. You will also build and implement strategic measurement frameworks and contribute to the ideation, development, launch, execution, and monetization of Avoq's rapidly expanding suite of leading-edge, proprietary AI-Powered Intelligence Solutions.

Who You Are

  • Senior Team Leader: You have strong team and project management abilities that enable you to cultivate talent and skills, fostering a culture of cross-functional collaboration. You inspire your team to stay ahead of trends and innovation, helping them develop new ideas and products to keep Avoq and its clients competitive.
  • Data Strategist: You can pinpoint and translate key data findings to help clients and account teams achieve reputation, business, and policy objectives across diverse sectors. You connect insights with specific tactics such as media relations, paid advertising, stakeholder engagement, content strategy, message development, and rapid response.
  • Subject Matter Expert: You are a leading research and integrated analytics expert within the AIP team, across Avoq, and for the firm’s largest clients. You transform complex data into actionable, high-impact insights, design research methodologies, scope projects, and present findings and recommendations. You provide a 360-degree view of key stakeholders to understand sentiment and reputation, with deep expertise in quantitative and qualitative research, as well as emerging AI technologies.
  • Advanced Analytics and Tools Maven: You are an expert user of advanced data platforms, social listening tools, influencer marketing technology, audience intelligence platforms, and AI tools. You leverage AI to innovate research and analytics offerings and strengthen insights generation. You are willing and able to rapidly learn Avoq’s methodologies and evolving suite of data, research, and analytics tools.
  • Storyteller: You have a natural curiosity about the world and uncover the "why" behind data. You synthesize findings into compelling narratives and presentations, confidently articulating these stories to senior internal and external audiences.
  • Business Driver: You play a key role in high-priority new business and client assignments, defining and pitching insights activities that put data at the center of client strategy. You drive the business impact of the AIP team, including revenue tracking and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with growth and capability leaders to craft solutions for clients.
  • Work with the leadership team to refine and execute the go-to-market strategy for the AIP business.
  • Engage with senior client stakeholders as a consultative partner to drive strategic data and analytics initiatives.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to proactively identify opportunities across existing clients and new prospects to introduce AIP capabilities.
  • Participate in business development efforts, including RFP responses, cross-department collaboration, and leading pitches.
  • Develop thought leadership and innovative solutions that position clients at the forefront of their industries.
  • Continuously assess emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure solutions remain cutting-edge.
  • Develop and set go-to-market strategies for analytics and AI products and services.
  • Drive team performance through assertive leadership, project management, and execution.
  • Cultivate firm-wide knowledge of data and analytics through educational and upskilling opportunities, including training materials, templates, and workshops.
  • Set the business strategy for the team, including revenue tracking, project scoping and pricing, and cross-selling insights products.
  • Help build a vision for the future of the team and the role of insights and technology in shaping the industry.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of work experience in integrated communications, marketing/PR firms, public affairs agencies, research firms, public policy organizations, political campaigns, or government.
  • Ability to translate high-level strategic plans into actionable projects and OKRs with comprehensive timelines, budgets, and reporting.
  • Experience creating robust reporting dashboards or other data visualization tools.
  • Strong experience supporting senior clients (C-Suite and similar) in high-stakes, fast-moving, complex scenarios.
  • A role model who leads by example, maintaining a positive, open, friendly, and respectful attitude with high ethical standards and professional demeanor.

Pay

The salary range for this role starts at $230,000.
