About the Position
The Senior Vice President of Supply Chain will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team and will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s supply chain strategy across procurement, sourcing, inventory management, logistics, distribution, demand planning, and operational efficiency initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute enterprise-wide supply chain strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
- Lead procurement, sourcing, inventory planning, transportation, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Optimize operational performance, service levels, and cost efficiencies across the supply chain network.
- Establish and maintain strategic supplier and vendor relationships to ensure continuity, quality, and competitive pricing.
- Drive forecasting, demand planning, and inventory optimization initiatives.
- Implement process improvements, KPIs, and technology solutions to enhance visibility and operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, sales, finance, and executive leadership teams.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain organization.
- Ensure operational compliance, risk mitigation, and business continuity planning.
Requirements
- Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Significant progressive leadership experience in supply chain, logistics, distribution, or operations management.
- Proven executive leadership experience within a distribution, packaging, manufacturing, or supply chain-focused organization.
- Strong expertise in procurement, strategic sourcing, inventory management, transportation, and logistics operations.
- Demonstrated success leading large-scale operational transformation and process improvement initiatives.
- Experience building scalable supply chain infrastructure in a growth-oriented environment.
- Exceptional analytical, financial, strategic planning, and leadership skills.
- Strong communication and executive presence with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
- Experience implementing and optimizing ERP, inventory management, and supply chain technology platforms is highly preferred.
