Job Responsibilities
- Possess local networks, connections, and communities to prospect for business
- Be supported by HUB International corporate office and regional offices to create an entrepreneurial journey
- Ensure client satisfaction through superior customer service
- Generate and pursue new client opportunities
- Present HUB’s services and solutions at prospect meetings
- Bring new business prospects to closure
- Retain clients by maintaining solid business-to-business relationships
- Prospect, identify, and develop new clients from referrals or cold calls
- Provide clients with education on HUB’s value, service, and offerings
- Prepare/assist in contracting of clients and required paperwork
- Develop and maintain current knowledge of HUB’s core business partners and their products
- Work optimally with the team to achieve sales targets
- Support clients by providing technical support, product education, etc.
- Maintain and continually update HUB’s client database and regulatory updates
- If required, maintain industry memberships/licenses with regulatory bodies
- Attend and participate in ongoing education for industry knowledge
Job Requirements
- Must be an independent self-starter capable of selling and developing strong business-to-business relationships
- Confident professionals who are not afraid of cold-calling and developing new business
- Excellent listening skills and ability to determine clients’ needs efficiently
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
- Previous insurance experience is a plus
- Detail-oriented, strong communication, interpersonal, multi-tasking, and organizational skills required
Compensation
The compensation for this position is a variable comp structure primarily based on commission. The draw range is 75% to 80%, and could be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience, book of business, and working location, as well as the specific position’s scope and level. Paid-time-off benefits such as holidays and sick time, and eligible bonuses, equity, and/or commissions for some positions may be available.
