About the role

The Senior Vendor Manager will oversee the vendor management process, ensuring compliance with company policies and external regulations. This includes managing relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts, and overseeing contract performance.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the vendor management process, ensuring compliance with company policies and external regulations.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, including negotiation of contracts and oversight of contract performance.
  • Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships through effective communication and problem-solving.
  • Ensure all vendor contracts are compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Monitor vendor performance and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Prepare and present reports on vendor performance and contract status to senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in vendor management or similar role.
  • Proven ability to manage complex vendor relationships and negotiate contracts.
  • Strong understanding of financial management principles and internal controls.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis.
  • Experience with project management tools and software.

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience with vendor compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes and best practices.
