Senior VDI Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect and design virtual desktop environments
• Provide Tier 3/4 support to system administrators to resolve VDI issues
• Offer endpoint support on issues and trouble resolution tasks related to Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)
• Maintain advanced knowledge in administration, engineering, and implementation of virtual desktop infrastructure-related technologies
• Operate across multiple and complex production environments with multiple stakeholders
• Apply extensive technical expertise and make recommendations on solutions and "make buy" decisions

Requirements

• Experience providing engineering support for legacy and current versions of Citrix products
• 5+ years of experience with BS degree or a combination of years of experience and education
• Progressive roles from Administrator to Sr. Engineer
• Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops v7.15 and later
• Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS) and Machine Creation Services (MCS)
• Citrix Cloud Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD)
• Citrix Netscaler / ADC / VPX
• Citrix Workspace Environment Management (WEM)
• Citrix App Layering
• Liquidware Profile Unity
• Hyper V, VMWare VDI (Microsoft or Citrix NetScalers / ADCs)

Qualifications

• Familiar with HP AnyConnect and Leostream
• Active/current TS/SCI level clearance
