About the role
As a Vapor Etch Process Engineer, you will develop, optimize, and sustain vapor-phase etch and cleaning processes used in semiconductor manufacturing, primarily focusing on HF vapor etch and selective oxide removal for advanced DRAM technologies.
Responsibilities
- Own and refine vapor etch process modules
- Improve defectivity and optimize parameters such as pressure and temperature
- Perform root cause analysis
- Lead process qualification and technology transfer
- Collaborate on hardware improvements
- Utilize data analysis tools to drive yield, cost, and productivity enhancements
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2+ years of direct vapor etch process experience in high-volume manufacturing
- Hands-on experience with vapor etch tools
- BS/MS in engineering or related field
