Senior UX Designer

About the role

SeatGeek is seeking a senior designer to join the user experience team. This position is responsible for defining strategies, providing end-to-end craft and thought leadership, and partnering with cross-functional partners across product, engineering, product marketing, customer success, and more.

Responsibilities

• Deeply understand the needs, motivations, and behaviors of fans, sellers, teams, and artists
• Set direction by creating clear and impactful strategies while also sweating the details through execution and launch
• Balance speed and quality with a focus on driving impact through both optimizations and 0-1 product development
• Demonstrate outstanding design skills and a passion for experimentation, data, and systems thinking
• Collaboratively improve our component systems to ensure consistent, high quality experiences

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience
• Excellent craftsmanship
• An understanding of the technical and logistical obstacles that create friction during live experiences
• The mindset of a challenge, changemaker, and innovator
• 4+ hours of overlap with a 9:30am-5:30pm East Coast workday
• A passion for live experiences

Pay

The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $188,000 USD. This role is equity eligible. In addition, you may receive a discretionary annual bonus based on individual and company performance. Actual compensation packages within that range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.

Schedule

This role is full-time.
