Senior Upstream Process Engineer, Commercial - BPG

Responsibilities

• Lead upstream process design including PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment specifications
• Develop scalable solutions for media preparation and bioreactor manufacturing
• Translate customer needs into defined scopes for proposals
• Create costed proposals outlining scope, assumptions, and risks
• Serve as the primary technical contact for customer engagements
• Lead design reviews and technical discussions with stakeholders
• Contribute to technical marketing and represent the company at industry events

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field; Master's or PhD preferred
• 8+ years of process engineering experience in biopharma or life sciences
• Expertise in upstream bioprocessing, including cell culture and media preparation
• Experience with capital equipment projects and complex engineering proposals
• Familiarity with automation platforms and their integration in bioprocess facilities
• Strong understanding of cGMP and global regulatory frameworks

Pay

$120,000 – $210,000 annually
