Your Impact

Cisco CX Engineering is seeking a UI Developer with experience in Angular to design and develop modern, scalable, and intuitive user interfaces for our next-generation customer experience platforms. In this role, you'll collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product teams to deliver high-quality, performant web applications that power Cisco's digital ecosystem.

  • Design and develop responsive web applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Collaborate with UX designers and product managers to translate requirements into functional, user-friendly experiences.
  • Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs, ensuring efficient data flow and secure communication.
  • Implement and maintain reusable UI components aligned with Cisco's Design Systems for consistency across products.
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
  • Optimize performance and scalability across browsers and devices, ensuring high-quality user experiences.
  • Collaborate in an agile environment, delivering incremental value through iterative development cycles.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of related experience, or Master's degree with 4+ years of related experience.
  • Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
  • 3+ years of experience developing web applications using Angular, including debugging and troubleshooting front-end issues.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and working with JSON data structures.
  • Experience with UI design systems and component-based architectures.
  • Git and Agile methodologies experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience contributing to CI/CD pipelines, working closely with DevOps teams to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Familiarity with GraphQL for efficient data querying and integration.
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Jest or Vitest.
  • Exposure to Docker or other containerized development environments.
  • Problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of backend integration or full-stack development (Node.js, Python, etc.).

Pay

The starting salary range for this position is $167,700.00 to $245,200.00, reflecting the projected salary range for new hires in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including incentive compensation, equity, or benefits. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location, market conditions, job-related skillset, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, and/or training.

For non-sales roles, employees are also eligible to earn annual bonuses subject to Cisco's policies. Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, split between quota and non-quota components, subject to the applicable Cisco plan.
